This spectacular, newly written musical theatre event features the best performers from the Curro family of schools from across Southern Africa. From over 500 auditions, we chose 21 world-class performers – dancers, singers and actors – to work side by side with professional writers, directors, musical directors, choreographers, sound and lighting designers, and set builders to create an immersive experience that you will never forget. The #Currage Concert is not just a celebration of Curro’s 25th birthday, but a revelling in what it means to be young, in this time, in this place – with its blend of obstacles and the sheer joy of a million opportunities waiting for each young star. This is an energetic theatre spectacle like no other, a jol ranging from Queen to Eilish, from beat poetry to moving monologues, from soaring solos to unbelievable moments of beauty.
