Atterbury Klassiek celebrates the winner of the 2022 Atterbury National Piano Competition: Isaac van der Merwe. He has been hailed a young sensation with gifted technique and powerful musical expression and insight. Isaac van der Merwe has become one if the most influential young artists in South Africa after winning numerous major national music competitions. He is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Cape Town where he receives piano tutelage from the esteemed Francois du Toit.

He will perform a solo recital comprising works by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff.
